Simon was a good looking fellow who I thought was aging well. The most recent picture looked like he had had a severe peel to me and hadn't healed yet. It's a pity that people can't just accept that aging is a part of life. He looked fine to me.
I’ve never looked at an old person’s face and thought they looked bad. In a way, all old people look beautiful past a certain age. Getting plastic surgery is pretty much the only way to look bad as an old person. The lines on an older person’s face really tell a story about how they’ve lived and the primary emotions they’ve felt in their lifetime. It’s really a waste to botox it all away.
It blows my mind how people prefer to look ugly rather than old.

I once took a photo of a very old man in the Maldives. His face was with deep wrinkles all over and his eyes were glowing and so wise. It was the most beautiful face I had ever seen because his whole life was written in it. Just imagine erasing all that.

My uncle, a framer that worked out in the sun every day since age about 6 only died when he was 88. He was wrinkled and weathered and looked like the most handsome and gnarly tough man you would ever hope to meet. A very nice man that taught me how to fish.
The outcome of nobody saying “No” to you. When you’re surrounded by sycophants, nobody will sit you down and say “look Simon, this looks terrible. Don’t do it.”
For someone who acts mighty and intelligent then judges so many people, pointing out their flaws, their mistakes, their weaknesses, what they did wrong, what they lacked, Simon is unaware of his own flaws like his vanity which eventually led him to go through plastic surgery that made him look so much worse.
The thing with plastic surgery is that it doesn’t make you look younger, it just makes you look like an old person who’s had work done on their face as opposed to an old person who hasn’t had work done on their face. In both cases the person still looks their actual age, with the difference that the one who’s had the plastic surgery looks more freaky!
