No matter what these men were or were not, they will always be great cinema icons.
Nowadays people aren’t shocked but back in the late 50s to 70s lotsa young ladies were in love with these handsome men, especially Rock Hudson and Cary Grant.
I just wanted to say they got to the top through talent and hard work. Any idiot can be famous, but to have films that are still popular generations later, is a lot to be proud of. Their managers manoeuvred their private lives out of the press, it would be almost impossible today.
Grant was 82 when he made that ambiguous statement about his sexuality and maybe not at his best lucidity. The closeted people in the old days and now have the right idea I think. Everyone's sexuality is private and personal and shouldn't be subject to the perusals of buttinskies who are bored, jealous or maybe bigoted and hateful.
As ELIZABETH TAYLOR once said, Hollywood would not be Hollywood without GAYS! Strong 💪 and PROUD! 🏳️🌈 👍
Henry Willson secretary Phyllis was gay too. It was an arranged marriage. Henry Willson was an agent for many gay stars. He has a book "The Man Who Created Rock Hudson"(?) He was an agent for many handsome men.
Randolph Scott and Cary Grant only made one movie together (Hot Saturday). WRONG: they also played together in My Favourite Wife.
Im a conservative libertarian and what a person does in his or her own home is their business and not mine. I just dont want it pushed upon me like 'pride' month.
This was really interesting. There really weren't any shocking revelations on this. TY for sharing this.
These days people claim everyone is gay. If they're no longer with us and can't speak for their selves leave them alone.
