Fact: Storm chasers almost never get swept up by tornadoes because the sheer weight of their balls keeps them anchored to the ground.
Man I’ve never seen a tornado run from someone.... this guy must be scary.
This might be the best tornado footage I’ve ever seen. Especially once you get past 2:30 minutes, to see it swirling on the ground, just WOW — truly one of those unbelievable moments. Amazing work!
This is the clearest most detailed video of a twister I have ever seen, truly incredible , but I would not risk my life for a close look — nature’s raw power makes for chilling nature moments.
Literally every time they say "get a little closer" I say ARE YOU INSANE?! TURN AROUND — watching this is both terrifying and one of those unbelievable moments.
Did I hear this correctly??? -“we’re almost outta gas”??? Uh .... maybe it’s me but running outta gas chasing a tornado doesn’t sound like good planning. Still, this footage captured unbelievable moments most of us would never dare to see.
As its forming is one of the most ominous things I ever seen. Imagine how the natives saw these back in the day — must’ve been unforgettable nature moments of awe and fear.
I'm watching the footage and I was like, "who in their right mind would get that close in an unprotected...oh, reedtimmertvn. Ok, that makes sense, carry on." Definitely one of those unbelievable moments only storm chasers create.
I can't imagine witnessing a tornado let alone being that close to one — that’s one of the scariest unbelievable moments of anyone’s life.
That was probably the best tornado video I have seen. Much respect to the camera man or woman for keeping it in frame for all but a few seconds and to the whole group for having the balls to get that close — a true display of unforgettable nature moments.
