I'm a one-year trucker, and just today I missed an Interstate exit. What did I do? Drove six miles to the next exit, got back on going the other way, drove six miles back. Something like this would never have even crossed my mind. This was murder.32 year commercial driver here...Just passed 2 million accident free miles...It's not hard to do...I have spent a lot of time and miles going to another exit or street to make a safe turn, safety has been my number one priority since getting my license

Truck crashes like this prove that driver needs to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Scary as hell knowing these idiots causing truck crashes are on our roads.
That is incredibly stupid to even consider a U-turn on the turnpike — by a semi no less. Moves like this cause deadly truck crashes, and the driver needs to be prosecuted.
The driver's name is Harjinder Singh. He came here in 2018 illegally. He is in ICE custody — and knowing his actions led to one of the worst truck crashes just boils my blood.
My dad's best friend was killed in the same manner. The truck driver tried the same maneuver at night, and the car went under the trailer. Horrific truck crashes like this leave scars forever.
Deportation is not punishment. Send him to an American prison for 3 lifetimes for causing such truck crashes, and then deport him.
I drove truck for 30 years — that’s criminal negligence. I’ve seen drivers do dumb stuff, but truck crashes like this are a complete disregard for the law and common sense.
That is the damn dumbest thing I can imagine trying to do in a semi. What an idiot — go directly to prison for causing truck crashes like this.
