It hurts to think of what was going on behind the scenes that caused so many talented kids to give up a career. Knowing how so many kids are abused in this industry now, it does make sense.
All these parents who took advantage of their children success should have been put in jail.
I do not, as a parent, feel any child, small child, should be focusing on a 'career'. They need to be children, playing, learning, having family interactions. Having time to play and do nothing, at times, but stare at the sky. Make shapes of clouds and look for constellations. Tide bikes, etc. So glad some of these children walked away. And, had a real life.
