I have HIV and spent 3 weeks in the hospital with AIDS. My CD4 count was 19 (it should be at least 400). I had NO idea I had HIV. Today, you take a pill everyday and the virus is undetectable. I cannot transmit the virus to anyone. 30 years ago it was a death sentence. Today, it is manageable and I can live a normal life. I no longer have AIDS - but I am still HIV+

I had to get emergency surgery due to my gallbladder being infected one thing the doctors asked was about a blood transfusion but thank God they took my own blood and put back what i lost ..
I graduated HS in 80, and the memories this brings back is absolutely overwhelming! You asked so I will comment... I wanted to keep watching bc I was interested & I did, but was this an actual person talking? Regardless, thank you for the offer, but between all of the mispronounced names & places, the way the #'s were being said, and to spell the word AIDS is just wrong or use what AIDS actually stands for, but it's way too much for my ADHD to sit through another video. Plus, just a bad time period😢
