I am glad that Willie Ames was able to turn his life around instead of becoming a statistic.
All of us have ups and downs it’s sad, but it’s true. It’s life. ❤
It’s crazy stories like these that made me never ever think of trying drugs. First I don’t have the endless flow of money and second, I know I wouldn’t be able to control my addiction. Why try something when you know it’ll destroy your life?
Addiction is absolutely horrible. Time moves so fast, it's sad that so many fall by the wayside. I think about the year 2000 and how that was 25 years ago. It’s moved so fast it's hard for me to fathom I will be 73 years old in 25 years. It will come very fast I'm sure.
People that have no grounding and suddenly become rich will have issues. Then with so much money and easy access to drugs it really messes people up.
It is very hard to become famous through a fun job, lots of rejection, lots of luck. Go try people.
Most sad stories, and a few happy endings. Good for the ones that could retake their lives.
It's probably a very good thing that most of us aren't famous.
19:22 "Lockridge eventually became a crack addict" 😂😂 The stone cold delivery of that line from the robot narrator and the visual is hilarious.
Really SAD stuff! People who have everything going for them and never really appreciate it. Somewhat encouraging is when they pick themselves up and get going again to some extent – wish them all the best!
And no mention of the absolute champion: MICHAEL JACKSON WAS AROUND 400 (FOUR HUNDRED) MILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT!!! Besides, Gia Carangi is also worth mentioning.
