The morning of Chris Cornells passing hit me hard. Especially since it was only about 3 years since i had got to see them live thinking i would prob never have the chance to (i live in Vermont, hardly any good bands come here so i traveled out 3.5 hours to Wallingford CT to see them back in March of 2013

I was heartbroken when the brilliant, irreplaceable George Micheal passed away. He died far too young. His sublime voice and profound songs, got me through some very difficult days. George was such a kind, incredibly generous man behind the scenes too. I wished I'd met him, so many of his other fans say how sweet and gracious he was. His amazing, unforgettable music will always live on. RIP beautiful Angel..❤️🌹☮️🕊️

In particular, Dweezil Zappa had forged a highly successful life touring under the name "Zappa Plays Zappa." Dweezil is an incredibly accomplished musician in his own right and had faithfully recreated a lot of his father's virtuoso guitar playing. One of the "Zappa cover bands" sued by the Zappa company was Dweezil. It was really ugly, and it existed only because of the sibling favoritism injected by Gayle.
Bowie’s died two days AFTER his album came out. His album came out on January 8 (his birthday) and he died on January 10th. 2016.
I SO SO MUCH miss Tom. I fell in love with him when i was 12. That's when i first heard Refugee. When Damn the Torpedoes came out. I just KNEW i was going to grow up and marry him, lol. Well, you still can't tell my 12 year old self any different 😅😅 But Tom n the Heartbreakers got me through some very tough times, as a teen and also later in life. Im 58 now and i know theres DOZENS of GREAT songs out there to get me through. But damn do i miss him!! I first was in complete shock. Then i cried for DAYS!! Sometimes, i still get a tear in my eyes from listening to some songs or just thinking about it all. That tour though, i just wish he'd have postponed it and taken care of that hip. As do so many, if not all of his fans. But he appreciated and loved us. So he didn't wanna let us down. Boy, his death could have been avoided. And when Randy Rhoads died, it hit me hard too. And David Bowie.
