I grew up in this area of the country and moved to the mountains 25 years ago. I DO NOT miss tornado season at all. Prayer and best wishes to all who live in these areas — these are the harsh nature moments people never forget.

Professional storm chasers don’t even get that close… for a reason. And this is where nature moments show how risky it can be.
I’m from the post-twister early 2000s stock of storm chasers myself. The storm chasing handbook set the tone for what was acceptable and what wasn’t. Been chasing since 2003, and I’m seeing tons of unacceptable practices here — definitely some unbelievable moments.
