Feel very empathetic towards melody. She was brainwashed, groomed, ab**ed, fed dr**s. Physically escaping and mentally/ emotionally escaping are very different things. She has a long hard road ahead of her. Wishing her all the best on her healing journey
This is one of the most disturbing stories I’ve heard. I don’t think Melody should have gotten any time in prison. Imagine how messed up in the head she was from her dad. She needed serious counseling not prison.
Tired of hearing mothers say I know my son, when 75% of the time the mother is completly ignorance towards the child and the main root of there problems and thoughts
Prison is NOT where that girl needs to go. That will NOT help her get the help she actually needs. She needs psychological help and treatment, not punishment and more instability. She is a victim of child abuse and is now a victim of our fucked legal system.
this almost doesn't seem real, I cant believe that these people exist and live their whole lives like this
Beyond the horror of this case, what a glaring example of life in rural America. All over America. Poverty, drug addiction, crime...so sad – it almost feels like instant karma playing out in communities everywhere.
So glad they clarified that “Mike” is short for “Michael” and “Jim” is short for “James” – small details like that sometimes feel like a bit of instant karma for overthinking.
This girl should have never been sent to jail. We need an option besides jail for people like this – otherwise, society keeps creating its own instant karma cycles.
Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime. That's why I watch EWU on company time – a lighthearted way of enjoying some instant karma humor at work.
And I thought my sister's room was the messiest – but seeing this, it’s like instant karma reminding me things could always be worse.
