In the first Fast and Furious movie Dom tells Brian that when he was a kid he wacthed his dad burn in a car wreck at the track. Then Paul Walker's son witnessed Paul's death in a firey wreck in front of their high performance auto shop. Talk about a freaky, creepy coincidence.
James Dean died in a car accident on September 30, 1955. I will never forget it. My girlfriend’s father had the catering business and was supplying food at the Planetarium in Pasadena when the movie Rebel Without a Cause was being shot. He took us with him one day and we were able to see, Dean, Natalie Wood and Sal Mineo. See them not interact with any of the stars as they were methodically actors and stayed in Character, which at the time I did not understand what that meant. All I knew is that I got to see my two idols Dean and Natalie.
I can't say this is a fact but Jay Leno has said on his show more than once that thr big safety change in cars was 1966 so if that is true the Mansfield accident could not have been the reason for new standards.

He didn't drive the car he's mate did speeding and hitting a tree coursed the car to blow uo so Paul died sadly in most painful way 😢❤
