The saddest part of this video is how many parents do this exact same thing. Sad. Parents are held hostage by their children, IF they let them!
“When your own child doesn’t expect your presence during the holidays, maybe it’s time to stop expecting them to value your sacrifices. Bravo for choosing peace over pretense.”
Sometimes absence speaks louder than words family should never be taken for granted.
I appreciated this story.
I said it a million times, when you keep helping or paying someone else bills, they start to feel entitled and ungrateful, when you stop they get angry or start crying for help again.
Which I will only help someone once, while explaining I can't do it again, because I have my own survival to worry about.
This is an amazing story with a moral that should read, " Never expect to buy love or respect from friends... or even family"
If someone told me that i wasn't welcome? I'd be gone forever.
As parents we have to teach our kids that also have feelings of being cared and wanted by them. well done dad, you come first.
Well done dad you left her so proper parents at the airport. Good on you✅✅✅✅✅✅. Well deserved.
I’m calling Bullshit!
When I was just a little boy, I heard a neighbor lady say, "When they"re young they step on your feet, when they're grown, they step on your heart." (Not all, but some)
