Beautiful story with wonderful narration . The girl's tribe is among many native Red Indians . They had their own , lands , culture , discipline , faith and way of life to which the new settlers called heathen . With the power of gunpowder they kept snatching lands and killing innocent natives . Rings a bell ? Are modern times any different ? The story has brutal honesty , bittersweet reminisces and looking hopefully into a better future . Loved it through and through ❤️🌹❤️

What beautiful and sad story. I lived in Ireland and never been to the US. As a very small girl I used to watch the the cowboys films. I was drawing to wards the native Indian people. I could see kindness to the mother earth
