I really loved this story...Thank you
My maternal great grandmother, whom I was blessed to spend time with, and my paternal great grandmother, were Native American, Cherokee and Choctaw, respectively, I have great love for my grandmothers and my ancestry. I love this story! I can relate to it even though I am only 67 and did not go through the forced removal, personally. I definitely got to feel the residual effects in my own family. What a beautiful story and "we are still here!"
