Sidney Poitier wasn't in the Magnificent Seven also you have put Robert Vaughan in the "Now" section of Brad Dexter
My favorite movie of all time.
This wasn't a TV series, it was a movie.
Too many to choose a favorite. They were and are, afterall, The Magnificent Seven.
They were all magnificent. Loved Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, and Eli Wallach, they were brilliant. Also loved James Coburn, and Charles Bronson played a great part as well. Powerful men in a powerful movie.
One of the best cowboy movies of all time. Yul Brynner was outstanding. Steve McQueen also. Robert Vaughn another standout performance, Eli Wallach I could go on and on. I love the scene at the beginning when Yul agrees to drive the hearse with Steve McQueen to Boot Hill. They played the scene so cool.
This movie had an excellent ensemble cast, each actor perfect for his/her role.
There will never be such a sensationally different, yet perfectly matched movie star in this story again! The music of the film is also impressive. They are inimitable!
I was fortunate to see Yul Brunner & Virginia McKenna (the lady in the Elsa the lioness movie) in The King & I in London. Breath taking.
Fantastic film!! All men, ALPHA MEN at that!! No ridiculous drag freaks. Awesome movie!!
Yul Bryner. There is something about him. His role as the pharaoh in Ten Commandments .... And his role in The King and I are my all time favourite.❤
Many excellent actors & personalities in this Giant of a Western but, for me, NO ONE could touch Yul Brynner for terrific charisma and a voice that SHOULD have belonged to Darth Vader. His voice alone commands respect, just like James Earl Jones.
My favourite actor then was Charles Bronson, a face which portrayed a tough guy
Although he was the bad guy, my favorite character Calvera played by Eli Wallach. This role probably accelerated his career in movies and television. He is one of my all time favorite actors.
Eli Wallach, who played the villain, was the most amusing character that had stuck in my mind, other actors were fabulous too.
