Everyone in the damn movie is dead… I grew up wanting to be these guys. I watched it over and over again. Breaks my heart. Makes me realize I’m not getting any younger.
Respect and admire them! Rest in peace all talented people!
Quite the harsh realization that not only have all the cast past, but most died decades ago. Life is precious & short..
The movie was 64 years ago and they were adults at the time. It is not surprising they are dead now.

My all time favorite movie and I have literally seen it dozens of times, several of them in a theater when it first came out and later on VHS and DVD. I even have the soundtrack on cassette and DVD. Great movie, great cast!
The first ever western I watched and still my favorite! Yul Brinner, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn all in one movie - unbelievable!
