Canada's decision to prioritize its own premium beef and turn away U.S. imports is a powerful statement. With the U.S. beef being rejected over quality concerns, Canada has found a way to assert its position in the global market. Proud to see Canada taking charge and maintaining its standards!
As a Canadian ive always said Canada needs to grow some balls, and now they have. So proud to be Canadian ❤ always have but more so now
Just because Canadian beef isn’t available doesn’t mean you have to settle for U.S. beef. I picked up some amazing Australian beef instead, delicious and no drama
Canadian beef farmer. Very small. My cows are given best life, as they should. Yes, it is a business so sadly they go to market, but till then they are treated best they can be. I was shocked in USA the feed mills where cattle as far as you can see stuffed in corals. The smell so bad you can hardly breath. Not allowed in Canada.
Beef from the USA does not make it to market in Australia for 2 reasons. First, Australia produces more than enough beef for the domestic market. Secondly beef from the USA is regarded as a bio security risk.
I watch beef cattle graise in the long green grass all summer long where I live in Ontario. Occasionally, my grand kids feed them carrots or apples. That's the beef I want my family to eat. We have a big country with lots of room up here for graising.
Why would canada buy American beef canada has way better beef quality with out hormones so why would anyone eat meat with hormones
Canadians are proud to protect their country. And Canadians are the First Peoples and the immigrants. Because of diversity, Canada is well loved and respected in the world. This respect brings trust needed in global trades. So Canada continue to have a better future. American disrespect will pay a great price!
Canada’s rejection of U.S. beef and pivot to Mexico shows trust trumps proximity in trade. U.S. tariffs backfired, hurting farmers and signaling a need for cooperative, not confrontational, policies.
I've never thought USA industrial meat was good quality. I prefer not to have hormones, antolibiotics, pesticides and God knows what in my food! I'll never eat it if I have a choice.
